Hanging Out with Parents Who Rock
Suzy has another hometown favorite - Parents Who Rock! This eclectic mix of local musicians get together and raise money for both local and national charities such as the Essex County Rape Center, Covenant House New Jersey and Montclair's Developmental Learning Center. Their most recent benefit show raised funds for a universal playground at Edgemont Park that will enable all children (disabled and able-bodied) to play to the best of their abilities alongside each other. They have also just released their first CD, with all proceeds going to help fund the playground.
Parents Who Rock is celebrating their 3rd Anniversary with a Backyard All-Day Event on Saturday, September 6th. You and your families are invited to camp out for the day with your own food, drink and blanket. Prepare yourselves to hear a bunch of great music. Here's a list of the bands playing:
