Rye Nature Center Upcoming Events
The Rye Nature Center has some great events coming up:

Old-Fashioned Winter's Afternoon
February 12
12 PM - 3 PM
A traditional, favorite Rye event! Log sawing contests, fire-roasted marshmallows, and fun crafts will warm everyone up! Try making some candles and take a hay ride. All ages are welcome to this fun afternoon.  Purchase $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00 punch cards for refreshments and crafts.
If you are interested in volunteering for this event, we would love to have your help! Please contact Lisa Sandler.

Winter Vacation Camp
February 21 - 24
10 AM - 2 PM
Let your preschool or elementary aged child spend their school vacation with RNC's naturalists! Children will enjoy hiking and games outside and spend time inside with our collection of animals.   Crafts, games, and more round out each day.  Children should bring lunch and wear appropriate clothes for the weather.  If there is snow (and one can only hope), there will be sledding! Campers must be at least 3.5 years. To register, just download our registration form or email Christy Conley.

Summer Camp and June Bugs - Early Bird Discount Ends March 15th
Summer will be here soon and the RNC is the place to be for it!  Download our 2012 Summer Camp Guide and registration forms today.  Register before March 15 and save 5% when you register for three weeks or more. Camp is for children ages 3.5 to 13 years.  Come for a week or for the whole summer! Spots go quickly. Register early.

June Bugs is Back for 2012
Your child can enjoy the early start to summer! Our popular mini-camp is back for 2012 and registration begins January 20, 2012.  This program typically sells out, so don't wait to register.  June Bugs is for preschoolers and kindergarteners.
