St. Patrick's Day Parade in Mamaroneck

On Sunday, March 18, at 12:30 pm, the first annual Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held, drawing attendants from various sound shore communities. Areas include Rye, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Harrison, Port Chester, New Rochelle, White Plains and Scarsdale to celebrate Irish heritage in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
Organized by the Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade committee, the parade will feature musicians, dancers, local schools, police, firefighters, pipes and drums bands, and representatives of the area’s Irish community. Jim Killoran, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Westchester, will serve as Grand Marshall.
Parade marchers will gather at 11:30 am, and the parade will kick off at 12:30 pm. at Nostrand Ave., near Mamaroneck Avenue School, and proceed down Mamaroneck Avenue. The parade will terminate at Harbor Island off Boston Post Rd. Prior to the parade, a celebratory mass will be held at St. Vito’s Church at 9:30 a.m.
