TEEN FOCUS GROUP: Planning Tech Programming for the New Teen Room
The exciting new teen area on the library's second floor will soon be open for business, and help is needed.  Tech savvy teens are invited to take part in a focus group from 3 PM - 4:30 PM on Friday, January 27 to help plan programming using the technology in the new space.  Refreshments will be served.

TEEN VIDEO CHALLENGE: Own the Night
Teens are invited to call on their inner Steven Spielberg and create a summer reading video that could win them $275 and our library $150!  The contest, which is sponsored by the New York State Office of Cultural Education, is designed to promote public libraries and the fun of summer reading. Teens are asked to create a 30 to 90 second interpretation of the teen slogan "Own the Night." The deadline for submitting a video is March 5, and entry forms and information are available at the library or online at www.summerreadingnys.org
