The future of Playland Park will be the topic of a public forum and panel discussion co-sponsored by the City of Rye’s Playland Strategic Planning Committee and the Rye Historical Society. This event will take place on Thursday, November 18 at 7:30 pm at the Rye Free Reading Room located at 1061 Boston Post Rd. in Rye, NY.
Attendees can expect to learn about the historical significance of Playland Park and also hear more about Westchester County’s recent Request for Proposal (RFP) for alternative public uses of the Park. The public will be invited to join the discussion and share their thoughts regarding the future of Playland Park, a site that has been designated a National Historic Landmark and is also listed on the New York State Register of Historic Places.
