New Rye Y Fall Programs
Children, teens, adults and families will have ample opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the RYE YMCA this fall!  The new program guide is filled with dozens of active and creative programs.  Here is a sample of what’s new this fall:

Kids: The Y is introducing a new socialization and language skills program, Friendly Faces, for children who have difficulty making friends. The 17 week program teaches social skills through guided play. Click here for details. A new music class, Beginner Keyboard, will be offered this fall along with Squash Lessons, Super Soccer Stars and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition to the popular co-ed Youth Basketball League, the Rye Y is also introducing a new Girls Youth Basketball League.

Teens:  The Rye Y is introducing several new programs to help teens to get active. Teen Fitness Fusion is a new drop-in exercise program featuring various group exercise classes for youth ages 12-16.  Other new offerings include Teen Training 101, On/Off Season Sports Conditioning and Group Personal Training.

Adults:  Healthy Living is the focus with the new Fitness Coaching 101, Informal Group Training, Healthy Back for Life and The Roadmap - personal guidance without the Personal Trainer.

Member registration for fall classes begins August 4 and Non-Member registration starts August 10. Online registration is available for many classes at www.ryeymca.org; click on the Register Online for Classes tab.  Members may register on-line beginning at 6 am on August 4 or can mail in or drop off a registration form at the Member Services Desk. Members’ best chance of securing a place in class is to use online registration (when available) on August 4 at 6 am. Registration for most aquatics classes is mail-in or drop-off only and may require a swim evaluation. Mail-in and drop-off forms must be received by August 3 for a lottery system.  On August 10, Non-Members can register on-line beginning at 6 a.m. or in person beginning 7:30 a.m.

All classes, schedules and registration procedures are detailed in the new Fall Program Guide.  For more information, call the Y at 967-6363.
