Liza Minelli on Stage in Stamford

The Stamford Center for the Arts/Palace Theatre will host the 3rd Annual Palace Gala on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 8pm with a benefit concert featuring Liza Minnelli. The proceeds from the March 30th concert will support the Stamford Center for the Arts Education Program. The program, designed for thousands of area youth ages 4-18, many of whom are from our area’s underserved population, provides students with lifelong learning opportunities. As part of the Gala, Ms. Minnelli will receive the Arts Legacy Award which has previously been awarded to Diana Ross and Dave Brubeck.
The evening begins with a VIP Gala Cocktail Party for all Sponsors at 6:00 pm at The Palace Theatre. Ms. Minnelli will perform on the main stage following the cocktail reception. In addition, Artwork from Jo-Ann T. Claybourne will be on display in the Sackler Gallery.
All performances are held at the Stamford Center for the Arts’ Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT 06901.
A limited number of Gala tickets at $350 are available, that includes the cocktail party, a show ticket and complimentary parking. Other Gala concert tickets are available at: $185, $110, and $95. To purchase Gala tickets, please call the Development Office at 203-517-3426. Concert only tickets can be purchased at the SCA website, www.scalive.org or charged by phone with major credit cards by calling the SCA Box Office at 203-325-4466. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Palace Theatre box office in downtown Stamford, CT. The box office is open Monday-Friday from 10am to 6pm.
