Ahoy, galpals! If you’re looking for a different kind of family fun for your Fourth of July celebration, then boy does Suzy have an idea for you. Philipsburg Manor along the banks of the Hudson River in historic Sleepy Hollow, NY, will be the scene of some serious, swashbuckling fun. The same team that produces the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze presents a treasure of an event. Kids can visit a “shipwreck,” hunt for pirate booty, learn to swordfight and become enchanted by a captured mermaid, while the grown-ups will enjoy food from Tastefully Yours and flagons of beer from Captain Lawrence brewery.
