Learn About Outer Space Indoors
Here's how to bring outer space closer to home. Visit The Discovery Museum where The Space Institute's entertaining and interactive exhibit "Giant Worlds: A Voyage to the Outer Solar System" is on view. This enlightening astronomical display answers some pretty big questions, such as, what are the planets made of, how did they form, how big are they, etc. Visitors can experience what went on at the beginning of our solar system. They'll also shoot a probe through Jupiter's crushing atmosphere, inspect Saturn's rings and take a immersive ride through these giant planets and more.  Museum hours are: Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $7-$8.50
