Kids know and love Dr. Seuss's one-of-a-kind characters. On Jan. 21 and 22, these classic staples of childhood seem even more kid-friendly brought to life by other kids in Music Theatre of CT's production of Seussical performed at Westport Playhouse. Created by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty ("Ragtime," "Once On This Island") this on stage party has a great guest list with Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination--Jojo. "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think," as he'd put it, captures the show's imaginary spirit. Take a silly sojourn that swings from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos with friends and fellow travelers from Dr. Seuss's books. Tickets are $15-$25.
