Summer simplicitiy, that's Suzy's motto! And with this 5 quick and easy tips from Kathe Roberts, Suzy's planning to keep the summer fun easy and stress free!
Tip 1 Keep a laundry basket by the back or garage door stocked with folded beach towels, cover ups and swim suits. Ideal for when kids need to grab towels and suits on the run. In a hurry? Take the entire basket to the beach or pool with you.
Tip 2 Hang a row of hooks in the garage or laundry room to easily hang the wet suits and towels on the way into the house.
Tip 3 Use a clean plastic outdoor garbage can for storage of pool and beach toys. Drill holes on bottom to drain water and prevent mold build up. Don’t forget to rinse toys before putting them away.
Tip 4} Use a bucket or bin in the mud room for flip flops to reduce clutter (and sand!) on the floor.
Tip 5 Keep your picnic basket stocked after each use with paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, cups, wipes, candles and tablecloth. You’ll be ready when you want to picnic by the lake or hear that summer concert in the park.
