Help for the Holidays

With the holiday season in full swing, some of you may be looking for different ways to volunteer and help out this year.
One great way is with the Carver Center in Port Chester. The Twig is busy collecting donations of gifts for all ages- from infant to teenager- at their antique store located at 15 Purchase Street in Rye through Sunday, December 20th. They are also looking for volunteers to help out with gift distribution on Tuesday, December 22 from 11-3. Parents of Carver Center kids will stop by to receive gifts for their children. The Carver Center is scheduling appointment times every half hour during this time to accommodate all the families. If you are interested, please send your email to howland5jd@aol.com.
Another great opportunity is to help P.O.T.S.
POTS is in desperate need of food and volunteers for the Christmas Dinner. The sign-up sheets are in the Church vestibule. They need cooked, unstuffed turkeys among many other things. Please check the list and consider donating to this very worthwhile project.
