If your teen is a budding fashionista interested in a career in the fashion industry, this is a don't-miss opportunity. Teen Vogue is hosting its fourth annual Fashion University in NYC on October 22. Applications for interested students are due August 1, click here to apply.
The event brings together 500 students and nearly 40 designers and fashion insiders for a close-up on the business and fashion. Carefully selected students participate in seminars and workshops led by some of the industry's top talents. Vera Wang has just been confirmed as the 2010 keynote speaker.
Teens are encouraged to make their applications as detailed and representative of their work as possible—include photos, sketches, anything to make their creativity shine through.
The Fine Print
Participants must be between 16 and 22 as of October 1, 2010. (A State I.D. will be required at event check-in.) Application must be received by August 1, 2010. All applicants will be notified of our decision before October 1, 2010. No high school or college credit earned.
