Doodle for Dental Health

In recognition of Dental Health Month in February 2012, the RAC has partnered with Dr. Deborah Troy, DDS., P.C. to offer an exciting opportunity to students Grades K-12. Using the theme “The Ultimate Battle: Cavity Creep vs Tooth Fairy, Who Will Win?” as a springboard, students are invited to submit a drawing or painting on a sheet of 11×14 paper using the medium of their choice (pencil, watercolor, marker or paint.) Each entry will be judged on its originality, artistic design, and best representation of the theme. The winner of each level (K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12) will receive a $100 cash prize.
All artwork will be displayed in the Gallery of The Rye Arts Center for the duration of the award ceremony on February 17 (6:00 pm) and remain in the gallery the following week. All who participate are invited to join us for food, fun and to see their works in the RAC Gallery!
Students are invited to enter one piece. Student artwork does not need to be framed, and will be returned at the end of the exhibit.
Artwork must be delivered to the RAC by Friday, February 10.
