AuthorsLive presents James B. Stewart discussing Tangled Webs
This Thursday at 7p.m, James B. Stewart, will discuss his new book, Tangled Webs: how false statements are undermining America: from Martha Stewart to Bernie Madoff with Ernest B. Fleishman, former Superintendent of Greenwich Schools and current Senior Vice President, Education and Corporate Relations, Scholastic, Inc. on Thursday April 28 at 7 p.m in the Cole Auditorium. Stewart is author of the blockbuster Den of Thieves. A former Page One editor at The Wall Street Journal, Stewart won a Pulitzer Prize in 1988 for his reporting on the stock market crash and insider trading. He is a regular contributor to SmartMoney and The New Yorker. In vivid detail, Stewart considers the perjury epidemic (think Martha Stewart, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, and Barry Bonds) and how it reflects a deeper corrosion of ethics in business, government, academia, and more.

The program begins at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:40. Copies of Tangled Webs will be available for sale and signing. The program is free and open to all.
