  • Grade Three - 4:00-5:00
  • Grade Four - 5:15-6:15
  • Grade Five - 6:15-7:15
  • Grades Six/Seven/Eight (only meet eight times) - 7:15-8:15

The program presents instruction in all phases of ballroom dancing and a strong emphasis is placed on the development of  consistently using good manners. We also include some "rock-n-roll" and line dances, with current music.

The classes provide a time for the children to learn table manners, all general dining courtesies, phone manners, proper introductions of adults and peers, and the development of conversational skills. They practice at the beginning and end of each class how to make a good first impression by greeting adults while making eye contact, using a firm handshake and learning to say names clearly.

The classes are conducted in a party atmosphere using games to keep the children engaged. Being confident and relaxed with dancing will prove to make all future social events fun and enjoyable for your child. This combination of dance and manners in the classes makes for a wonderful experience that your child will draw from throughout their lives, distinguishing them from others who haven't had the experience of the classes.

In order to provide a more varied program for the 6/7/8th grade class, a special series of eight theme nights has been planned to emphasize a new learning experience, in party atmosphere with seating at tables of six and refreshments at each class. This special program provides a wonderful way to interact socially with one another as well as learn advanced dancing. Conversation among the children develop as a result and the boys learn to serve a partner simple refreshments, i.e. chips, cookies, soda.
