Entering its 18th year, Children's Day at the South Street Seaport transforms the historic Seaport district into New York's largest free family festival on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Children's Day is a multi-faceted event that draws 30,000+ parents and children from across the Tri-State area. Musical performances, walk-around characters, hands-on art projects, storytime events and vibrant theater entertain the stroller set from noon – 5pm. More free family entertainment closes the day with the Target Fireworks Spectacular and a family-focused concert on the Seaport's Pier 17 stage.
