Ogre Alert! Everyone’s favorite scary giant returns to the big screen for his final visit to Kensico Dam Plaza during a showing of Shrek Forever After (2010, PG) as part of the “Screenings under the Stars” free outdoor movies series on Thursday, July 7, in Valhalla.
Entertainment including a deejay begins the evening at 6 p.m. The movie begins at sundown.
The fourth and final installment in the Shrek film series, Shrek Forever After is an animated fantasy-comedy film that pokes fun at traditional fairy tales. It features the voices of Mike Myers as “Shrek,” Eddie Murphy as “Donkey” and Cameron Diaz as “Princess Fiona.” Running time is 93 minutes.
Admission and parking are free. Moviegoers should bring blankets, folding chairs and a picnic. Refreshments and popcorn will also be for sale. In the event of rain, the movie will be canceled.
