An exciting music appreciation class for young musicians offered by music educator and Larchmont resident Debra Whitman! Participants explore various instruments, musical notation, conducting and a “celebration” of great composers and their famous hits. Highlights include: Session 1–The wonderful music of Mozart and Rossini, including “The Magic Flute” and “TheBarber of Seville”. Session 2: -The wonderful music of Vivaldi and Prokofiev, including “The Four Seasons” and “Peter and the Wolf”. Storytelling, singing and dancing are also part of the FUN. This is a great introduction to private lessons. Limited enrollment so register soon!
