If you're looking for a fun way to get in the Halloween spirit, head over to the Bronx Zoo for Boo at the Zoo! October weekends are packed with activities, including wildlife magic shows, pumpkin carving demonstrations, and haunted hayrides. Embark on the first ever Haunted Safari and be part of the journey to Save the Species. Best of all, come visit with bats, cats, and creepiest critters.
The Bronx Zoo has created a list of Must-Dos:
*Embark on a Haunted Safari to help locate a lost species and journey through a bat cave, the belly of a snake, and a rainforest swamp!
*Load up for a Halloween hayride beginning at Fountain Circle.
*Enjoy live music and mysterious magic shows.
*Make a wildlife mask out of recycled materials.
*Get lost for a spell in our hay maze!
They've got a great Special Offer: A child age 3-12 wearing a wildlife costume will receive a free General Admission ticket when accompanied by an adult purchasing any full-priced adult admission ticket. Limit one free child per paying adult.
If the wildlife costume has you stumped, no worries. They've provided simple instructions for a lion, lemur or snake costume. Download them below.
