Email Etiquette
Most of us email afficionados have hit the "Send" key and immediately regretted it....be it a wrong address, the wrong tone or an emotional reply that should not have been sent.

Take a few minutes and learn some email rules to live by in the new book, "The Essential Guide to Email for Office and Home" by David Shipley and Will Schwalbe.

The authors list basic email tenets that get forgotten when you are wading through 100 messages in your inbox:

Be careful of your tone in emails.

Take a deep breath or walk away from the keyboard before you send an emotional response.

And, in Suzy's opinion, the First Commandment of emailing: "Assume everything you write will be forwarded," according to Shipley and Schwalbe.

In essence, "Think before you send".
